Digital pulse oximeter for personal use. Measure your own blood oxygen levels for early alerts of advanced respiratory issues. Pulse oximeters are non-invasive devices (no needle) used by health professionals to learn if someone’s symptoms are affecting their blood oxygen supply, which may indicate a corona virus infection. The device can be used easily by anyone and can measure pulse and blood oxygen levels for both children and adults.
Pulse oximetry is a noninvasive and painless test that measures your oxygen saturation level, or the oxygen levels in your blood. It can rapidly detect even small changes in how efficiently oxygen is being carried to the extremities furthest from the heart, including the legs and the arms.
The pulse oximeter is a small, clip-like device that attaches to a body part, like toes or an earlobe. It’s most commonly put on a finger, and it’s often used in a critical care setting like emergency rooms or hospitals. Some doctors, such as pulmonologists, may use it in office. (Healthline.com)
Breathing normal room air at your normal respiration rate, you should have an oxygen saturation level (SpO2) somewhere between 95 and 100 percent and a pulse rate between 60 and 100. This means your heart is beating normally all the while carrying enough oxygen to the rest of your body to keep you healthy. If the pulse oximeter displays an SpO2 level less of 90 or less, you should seek medical attention.

Canadians should anticipate parcel delays for the foreseeable future, even as Canada Post delivers at record levels. As Canadians continue to ramp up and diversify their online shopping, Canada Post is responding to unprecedented parcel volumes while maintaining important physical distancing measures in all our facilities. Processing record parcel volumes in plants that were never designed to keep people two metres apart takes more time.
